This family wine estate was replanted 35 years ago by Bernard Hudelot on land abandoned in the 16th century by the Canons of Saint Denis due to the cooling of the climate. Today's warmer climate means that the red and white wines can recapture the splendour of yesteryear. The estate only makes wines for laying down, left to mature for a long time in barrels, as they are sold 'en primeur'. You can taste and buy an impressive range of old vintages.
